It seems a little old for so little hours. The tractor is a good rig, but a little light for the hoe. I would not start contracting with it.
The price is good but not stellar for that year. I think the hours could compensate.
With that age you need to check the hydraulic lines and tires as they will crack without use. Ozone never sleeps, to wax Neil Young on you. ....

cpt.Dave, I just bought a 1997 970 with a 440 loader, Woods 7500 Groundbeaker backhoe and 881 hours for $12,000. It is gear shift, not Hydro. I am not sure how much smaller the 855 is than the 970, but the hoe tends to drag the machine around so the smaller size might be an issue for you.
Overall I am very pleased with the tractor. Bob ....

Cpt.Dave, The 970 is not in showroom condition and the backhoe pins are pretty loose. Considering your machine is older but in better shape it sounds like a good deal to me. I was looking for a 30HP machine with loader and backhoe. I could not find anything comparable for less than $15,000, the 970 was easily the best value for the size.
Hope this helped you out. ....
